Watson are aware of the fire alarm panels going off at random times and making a loud pitching noise that is causing a nuisance and a concern with the fire alarm system. They have found a fault with one of the fire alarm panels, which they will have to replace.
We are pleased to announce that the Leetham House Community Group (LHCG) is now a Recognised Tenants Association (RTA), in accordance with Section 29(1) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
Watson have written to notify all leaseholders, and their tenants, that Procleanit will attend the development to complete a fire door survey. To comply with the Fire Safety Regulations 2022 annual checks must be completed on all apartment doors to ensure that they are compliant fire doors and to identify if any defects would prevent the door from providing adequate protection in the event of a fire.
Watson have advised that, after consulting with a fire risk assessor, 3rd party contractors and Lendlease, they are finally in possession of both the PAS:9980 and the EWS1 for Leetham House. These can now be obtained from Watson on request.
One of the main communal soil stacks that serve many apartments that remove the wastewater from the apartments was blocked due to flushing an item in the drain that is not meant to be flushed, causing a blockage in the pipe.
As you may be aware, there is a current issue with the water on site and [Watson] can assure they are on with this and are trying to rectify the problem as quickly as possible.
